EAA Chapter 526 / About Us:
On May 23, 1975, EAA Chapter 526 was founded by several charter members and our first President, Kenneth R. Heidger. The first home of our Chapter was based in Mr. Heidger's garage in Roseville and later moved up the road to our present home in Auburn.
We were fortunate enough to have Mr. Heidger attend a recent meeting where he was met with grand applause. Thank you Mr. Heidger !

Chapter, 526 of Auburn, is a non-profit organization, involved / focused on aviation within our local communities. We are a diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interest which include new plane construction,
restoration, maintenance and general aviation.
Our goals include introducing aviation to the young and more recently, to adults that are unaware of aircraft or airport operations.
Our members are volunteers with a passion for safe aviation and represent people that are non-pilots, Light Sport Pilots, Private Pilots and more.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our meetings so that you can get a first hand look at what we do and how we operate. Remember, you do not have to be a pilot to join.
